SCV backup unable to discover resources after upgrading to SCV 5.0

  • Datastore backup

Issue

  • After upgrading to SCV 5.0 the backup fails with the following error in the Job Details:

Unable to discover resources on SCV: Failed to get the storage system for host resource : Name : <datastore_resource_path>, Type: SDNASDir

  • Backups worked before the upgrade.
