SCV backup starts to fail with exception "Content is not allowed in prolog"

Issue
- SCV backup starts to fail to discover resources with message:
Error: Unable to discover resources on SCV: Storage discovery failed, received error during operation: java.lang.NullPointerException.
vmcontrol_<JOB_ID>.log
shows that storage discovery failed withjava.lang.NullPointerException
