Issue

  • SCV backup job creates ONTAP volume snapshot even though the datastore is not included in the resource group.
  • ONTAP command volume snapshot show indicates that a snapshot of a resource group for another datastore was created:

            Datastore A
                  <Resource Group for Datastore A>_xx-xx-xxxx_xx.xx.xx.111 xxGB xx% xx%
                  <Resource Group for Datastore A>_xx-xx-xxxx_xx.xx.xx.222 xxGB xx% xx%
            Datastore B
                  <Resource Group for Datastore B>_xx-xx-xxxx_xx.xx.xx.111 xxGB xx% xx%
                  <Resource Group for Datastore B>_xx-xx-xxxx_xx.xx.xx.222 xxGB xx% xx%
                  <Resource Group for Datastore A>_xx-xx-xxxx_xx.xx.xx.111 xxGB xx% xx%
                  <Resource Group for Datastore A>_xx-xx-xxxx_xx.xx.xx.222 xxGB xx% xx%

Note:

In case the resource group is configured to update SnapMirror and the volume doesn't have a snapmirror relationship, SnapMirror Update job after the backup job fails with "No SnapMirror destination found for <svm_name> : <volume_name>"
