Issue

  • SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware Guest File Restore fails with the following error message:

Operation failed because of the following exception: Failed to online new drive on guest, error during onlining
Could not find a disk with serial number <Disk_Serial_Number>. You may need to add the disk.EnableUUID = TRUE parameter in the virtual machine configuration. See https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/52815 for more information.
