Issue

  • SCV GUI (https://<SCV-IP>:8080) does not add restrict <NTP_SERVER> nomodify notrap nopeer noquery entry in /etc/ntp.conf if the entry doesn't exist before changing NTP server.

diag@scv:~$ grep ^restrict /etc/ntp.conf
restrict -4 default ignore
restrict -6 default ignore
restrict 127.0.0.1
restrict ::1
diag@scv:~$

  • When the entry doesn't exist, SCV doesn't sync with NTP server.

diag@scv:~$ ntpq -np
     remote           refid      st t when poll reach   delay   offset  jitter
==============================================================================
 <NTP_SERVER>    .INIT.          16 u    -   64    0    0.000    0.000   0.000
diag@scv:~$ ntpq -c as

ind assid status  conf reach auth condition  last_event cnt
