SCSQL restore fails if cluster name is registered incorrectly in Storage Systems

  • SnapCenter Plug-in for Microsoft SQL Server (SCSQL) 6.0
  • SnapCenter Plug-in for Microsoft Windows (SCW) 6.0
  • The cluster name displayed on Storage Systems in SnapCenter GUI is different from the actual cluster name

Issue

  • Performing single file restore task of SCSQL restore job fails with error:

Restore failed. Details: Error: No resources mounted from snapshot for restore.

  • SCW_<Job_ID>.log shows error:
ERROR SCW_4833 PID=[3108] TID=[296] Message    : Failed to add LUN mapping
[400]: Either "svm.uuid" or "svm.name" must be provided.
