SCSQL clone lifecycle job fails with ErrorMessage Failed to find host()

Issue

When attempting to remove Clone LifeCycle (CLC), the following error appears:

ERROR SnapManagerWeb PID=[6872] TID=[136] ErrorCode (129), ErrorMessage (Failed to find host()). Verify if the host is  up and running and check the DNS and firewall settings .Object reference was not set to an instance of an object...)
