SCO fails to mount cloned VMDK for backup cataloging

  • SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware (SCV) 4.8 and higher

Issue

After upgrading the Oracle plug-in to version 4.9, the cataloging is no longer working.
 
When cheking the log, the vmcontrol log has the following error when attempting to get both the database and archive logs as cloned VMDKs online:
Failed to Mount/Attach Disk:- VMDK <VMWARE_UUID> not found in any datastore of backup
