SCO 6.0 install fails with error loading resource splerrors for class

Issue

When attempting to perform a plugin install for SCO or UnixFileSystem it fails with the error:
 
Loading resource bundle from splerrors for com.netapp.smcore.loader.ErrorMsgKey
 
  • From the spl.log in the job log:
j.l.Class - Plugin SCU will be enabled.
c.n.c.l.MessageBundle - Loading resource bundle from splerrors for com.netapp.smcore.loader.ErrorMsgKey
j.l.Class - Unexpected failure of enablePlugin operation:
com.netapp.common.logging.LoggingException: Error loading resource bundle splerrors for class class com.netapp.smcore.loader.ErrorMsgKey
 
 
  • From the spl_0.log:

SCU-LOG-00524: Obtained the 'null' value for 'PERL_INTERPRETER_OPTIONS' key.
SCU-LOG-00519: Executing command : /opt/NetApp/snapcenter/spl/lib/../plugins/scu/scucore/scuperl/bin/perl /opt/NetApp/snapcenter/spl/lib/../plugins/scu/scucore/bin/scu-perl-client --infile=/var/opt/snapcenter/scu/json/GetHostInfoInput_0_0.json --outfile=/var/opt/snapcenter/scu/json/GetHostInfoOutput_0_0.json.
