SCHANA fails to register the success of the HANA backup Snapshot with a SocketTimeoutException

SnapCenter Plug-in for SAP HANA (SCHANA) 4.x on Linux


The request for the backup goes through to the plug-in, and the plug-in fails to register the success of the backup snapshot due to the following error:

ERROR [pool-5-thread-1790] 116 com.netapp.plugincreator.workflow.notifier.impl.JobStatusNotifierImpl -SCC-00225: Unable to
update job status for jobId [9480] on SnapCenter Server: [ SocketTimeoutException invoking
ADDR>:8146/JobStatusService.svc/UpdateJobStatus: connect timed out].
DEBUG [pool-5-thread-1790] 149 com.netapp.plugincreator.workflow.notifier.impl.JobStatusNotifierImpl -UpdateJobStatus :
JobId(9480) Status(RUNNING) JobPercentComplete(0)

The time between request and response is usually between 14 and 30 seconds, and the job on the SnapCenter Server still shows as Running (*).
