Issue

After upgrading the SCV to version 4.8, the following error messages started appearing in the audit-mlog of ONTAP:
<NODE>: http :: <SCV_SOURCE_ADDR>:<SCR_PORT> :: <SVM_NAME>:<SVM_LOGIN_ACCT> :: Login Attempt :: Error: Authentication failed.

Note:
  • despite these errors, SCV backups and other functionality works fine
  • The SCV_SOURCE_ADDR does match the IP address of the SCV
  • SVM_LOGIN_ACCT matches the user SVM login credential in the SCV Storage Connections.
