Nginx service fails to start during SnapCenter Server for Linux installation

Issue

  • During SnapCenter Server for Linux installation, the Nginx service fails to start, which means the SnapCenter web UI will not be accessible.
  • The following errors are seen when the Nginx service tries to start:

systemctlstart: Starting nginx service
Job for nginx.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See "systemctl status nginx.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.
[ERROR] nginx start encountered errors
nginx: [error] open() "/run/nginx.pid" failed (2: No such file or directory)
[WARN] Executing: Function Name: startServices, Line No: 941, Result: 1
[WARN] Executing: Particular execution was failed and continuing with the further execution process...
