Mounting a VMDK into a VM from NVMe Datastore fails in SnapCenter 6.1P1

Issue

When attempting to restore data from a VMDK while using VMware Datastores using NVMe to ONTAP storage, the VMDK is properly assigned to the VM,
but the SnapCenter Plug-in for Windows doesn't discover it for mounting:
ErrorCode (-1), ErrorMessage (Failed to mountdisk E320_2510_2204_4418_000C_2964_2D8C_8EED. to mountpoint[C:\scmnpt\mpdisk0000\].Failed to add access path to the partition. Details:Failed to get disk information [E320_2510_2204_4418_000C_2964_2D8C_8EED.].Please check if there is SAN connectivity between the host/hypervisor and storage controller.
 
NOTE: The disk does show up in Disk Managment.
