Migration to NetApp data Broker 1.0.1 fails due to error "Invalid Source Host"

  • When executing the PowerShell migration command Invoke-SCVOVAMigration to migrate SCV from Windows to an Appliance, the job fails with

Invoke-SCVOVAMigration : Invalid Source Host
At line:1 char:1

 + CategoryInfo : InvalidArgument: (SnapManager.Cli...gration.Migrate:Migrate) [Invoke-SCVOVAMigration], E
 + FullyQualifiedErrorId : Operation failed,SnapManager.Client.PSModule.Migration.Migrate

  • nslookup and ping -a are successful
  • Command fails for both IPAddress and hostname of Source host.
