Yes, it is possible to use SnapCenter without renewing the certificate on SnapCenter Server for 10 years from the installation of SnapCenter Server.

Notes:

  • The "10 years" refers to the validity period of the self-signed server certificate generated in IIS during the installation of SnapCenter Server.
  • Because upgrading SnapCenter does not renew the certificate, refer to How to manage SSL certificates with SnapCenter when renewal is needed.
  • It is also possible to use a certificate generated by the New-SelfSignedCertificate cmdlet when renewal is needed.
