Is any action required in SCV when changing the vCenter Server authentication method from IWA to LDAP/LDAPS?

Answer

Update vCenter Server credential.

  1. Access to https://<SCV address>:8080.
  2. Select Configuration
  3. Click vCenter > Edit
  4. Enter credential for LDAP based authentication.
  5. Click Save

Note: 

  • SCV itself does not specify authentication methods or register certificates for LDAPS. 
  • The authentication method used depends on the vCenter Server configuration.
