Yes, it is.

  • SCV issues API calls to ONTAP to set the expiry-time based on the local time.
  • It does not take into account any difference between the compliance clock and the system clock on ONTAP side.
  • If the compliance clock is behind the system clock, backup deletion can only be performed after the expiry time plus the delay caused by the clock difference.
