How to restore and sync SnapVault backups after backup system downtime

Description

During SC backups, when destination volumes are under maintenance  SnapMirror updates will fail, in which case SC will register the failed backup as a non-SnapMirror backup. If the primary Snapshots are manually snap mirrored at a later time, SC will not reflect this in its MetaData and therefore restoring from the SnapMirror destination will not be possible through SC, but can be achieved manually from the ONTAP destination Snapshot.
