Description

  • This guide explains how to check if multiple Extents exist for a datastore in VMware vCenter.
  • Using SCV to restore or mount a backup of a datastore that has multiple Extents is not supported, and will fail with the following error:
    • A VMFS volume with the same UUID '<Volume_UUID>' is already mounted in the datacenter.
