Yes, SCV can perform backup and restore for Windows VM.
 
Notes:
  • From the perspective of SCV, there are no specific restrictions or recommendations regarding Active Directory features.
  • Select VM consistency option in backup policy to quiesce the VM and create VMware snapshot.
