Issue

  • After a vCenter maintenance activity, the ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere (OTV) virtual machine shows the following:
  • ONTAP tools plugin service has been administratively stopped
  • Virtual Storage Console has been administratively stopped
  • VASA Provider and SRA has been administratively stopped
  • Virtual Volume (vVol) datastores are offline/unaccessible
  • Management operations cease to work properly
  • Powering on the Virtual Machines (VM) are not working properly
  • All other datastores in the environment are no longer present
