  • VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) / VMware Live Site Recovery
  • ONTAP 9.x (SnapMirror)

SRM Reprotect failed with error partially completed and snapmirror still broken-off
  • SRM reprotect task fails or shows partial completion Reverse replication (reprotect) does not completeSnapMirror relationship remains:
    • broken-off
    • Datastore1/VM1.vmx' is located on a non-replicated or non-protected datastore
  • SRM / OTV replication state appears inconsistent

SRM Reprotect failed with error "the operation was only partially completed for the protection group 'PG1' since a protected VM belonging to it was not successful in completing the operation" and snapmirror still broken-off

Cannot protect virtual machine 'VM 01' because its config file '[Cluster1] Datastore1/VM1.vmx' is located on a non-replicated or non-protected datastore.
