SRA 10.x Incorrect status Failover in Progress is reported in SRM

Issue

  • SRM reports an incorrect status of “Failover in Progress” for the Storage Replication Adapter (SRA), even though the reprotect operation has completed successfully.
  • Datastores appear correctly as accessible (rw) on the production site and as dp on the DR site.

  •  SRM protection group operations are partially completed, and reports the might also report below error:

Error - The operation was only partially completed for the protection group 'Protection group 1' since a protected VM belonging to it was not successful in completing the operation. Cannot protect virtual machine 'srmtestvm' because its config file '[SRM_TESTING1] srmtestvm/srmtestvm.vmx' is located on a non-replicated or non-protected datastore.
