OTV plugin not working properly after vCenter password change

Issue

  • After changing the vCenter <username>@<name>.local account(s) password for vSphere Single Sign On (SSO) users that are associated with the ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere (OTV) v9.13 plugin, the following message is then displayed on all of the plugin tabs: 

com.netapp.nvpf.subplugin.tools.vsphere.privilege.client.VSpherePrivilegeValidationException: Managed object reference null is invalid in the request.

  • When using ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere (OTV) v10.x, the ONTAP Tools Manager local interface shows the following after clicking the Overview: Edit Appliance Settings window:
