  • ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere (OTV) 9.13P1, 9.13P2
  • VMware vSphere

Issue

Unable to update NTP server information within OTV 9.13P1. When trying to update the NTP server from the maintenance console or diag shell, it does not work.

From OTV diag shell:

ntpq -np 192.168.38
ntpq -np 192.168.0.39

ntpq -crv

nslookup 192.168.38
nslookup 192.168.0.39

The NTP server requests timeout, and the ntpq -crv shows it's ntpd ntpsec-1.2.2.
