Issue

  • Upgrading ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere (OTV) from version 10.4 to 10.5P2 stalls at 40% on the Performing ONTAP Tools Services Upgrade screen.
  • Attempts to restore from backup stall at 66% upon reboot.
  • The following errors are observed in the ansible-perl-errors.log:

changing JobManager back to Production and Changing Replicaset count of Gateway has failed with error code 07084.

  • From vpupgrader-upgrade-*.log:

Jobmanagermode change to Production failed.
The ntv-vault service enters a CrashLoopBackOff state.
