NetApp ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere v10.3

Issue

  • After the deployment of ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere v10.3 has been completed and configured using different Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for both the “ONTAP Tools IP Address” and the “IPv4 Address”, the following is presented:
  • Progress bar goes slowly, spends significant time at 31% (configuring/starting RKE2) and 68% (“Deploying ONTAP Tools Services”) -71% (“Registering VASA Provider”)
  • The Deployment Failed” message is briefly displayed before the login prompt screen appears.
  • The following error is then presented:

ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere Deployment failed due to Vasa provider and SRA services deployment has failed with error code 04061..
