ONTAP Tools: Upgrade and maintenance console options not working after changing administrator password

  • ONTAP tools for VMware vSphere 10.5P1 build (non-HA and HA deployment)

Issue

  • Upgrades to versions 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, or 10.5 fail.
  • Some maintenance console operations fail.
  • Some of the upgrade workflows and maintenance console operations require an authorization token using manager UI credentials.
  • When scripts attempt to generate the authorization token using the credentials, it fails with a 401 unauthorized error.
  • When the user changes or resets the password, it updates in certain systems, but not all necessary systems.
