ONTAP Tools: Stale snapmirror relationships cause storage discovery to fail

Issue

  • When discovering storage using OTV 10.x, the following error is observed in job logs and OTV diagnostics:

Error while fetching SnapMirror Relationship from peered cluster

  • Job Manager and OTV logs show repeated failures during “PerformingSnapmirrorRelationshipsRediscovery” tasks.
  • SnapMirror commands (snapmirror show -fields relationship-ids, snapmirror list-destinations) on the source cluster show a mismatch in the number of relationships compared to the peered cluster, with some relationships present only on the source.
