  • ONTAP tools for VMware vSphere v10.5
  • VMware vSphere ESXi v8.x

Issue

  • After a successful deployment of ONTAP tools for VMware vSphere (OTV), then adding ONTAP Storage(s), automatic discoveries may fail
  • When performing a manual Discover storage on any added ONTAP cluster, the discovery operation fails
  • Prior versions of OTV may not present this problem until v10.5 is installed
  • When upgrading to v10.5 and the option to skip certificate validation is done, OTV will deploy, but other issues below may be presented:
  • Storage virtual machines and datastores may not be displayed
  • OTV may run slow or sluggish after upgrading from OTV v10.4 or below
