  • HA Deployment Support: ONTAP Tools can be scaled from a single-node to a full HA configuration. This is especially recommended when using vVols datastores or managing multiple vCenter instances.
  • ASA Array Compatibility: ONTAP Tools 10.5 and newer support ASA r2 platforms, which include features like SnapMirror Active Sync, hierarchical consistency groups, and MetroCluster support.
  • SRM Integration: The Storage Replication Adapter (SRA), bundled with ONTAP Tools, enables seamless integration with VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) and VMware Live Site Recovery (VLSR), automating failover and replication workflows using SnapMirror.
