NetApp ONTAP Tools plugin takes up to (10) minutes to open

Issue
When starting the NetApp ONTAP Tools plugin in VMware vSphere after a successful deployment of ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere v10.4, the plugin window appears, but populates data slowly with just an animated starting symbol as shown below:
After about 10 minutes, the plugin becomes available for use, but the Overview Discover button is grayed out, and the Register VMware vSphere APIs for Storage Awareness (VASA) provider button is missing, leaving the customer unable to register the VASA provider.
When viewing the browser's developer tools as the plugin is attempting to complete loading up, errors 504 (Gateway Timeout) and 401 (Unauthorized) are seen :
When reviewing the ntv-gateway-svc pod logs, the following timeouts when validating the vCenter session are seen:
