SRM Disaster Recovery Fails with error 'Unable to Abort Ongoing Transfers of the Device as Part of Failover'

Issue

  • SRM Disaster Recovery fails with the error:

"Failed to promote replica devices. Failed to promote replica device '//Cluster1/vol1'. SRA command 'failover' failed for device '//Cluster1/vol1'. Unable to abort the ongoing transfers of the device as a part of failover. Check the SRM logs for more details."

  • The OTV console or Maintenance console displays the warning: "Administrator and Database password about to expire. Please change it!"
