Issue

  • Installing AIQUM may fail with error:

Failed to start Active IQ Management Server services.
warning: %post(netapp-um-9.7-2006081700.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 255
Non-fatal POSTIN scriptlet failure in rpm package netapp-um-9.7-2006081700.x86_64

  • Services of newly installed AIQUM are not starting
  • Other error logs may mention that certain file/directory permissions are not correct
  • After correcting file permissions, still unable to login to the web GUI successfully
