  • Restoring a large file, over 1TB from remote cluster to local cluster

Issue

  • Restoring a large file fails after some time when trying to restore, either using CLI, Commvault or UM GUI.
  • Within UM the restore jobs does not show as failed for long time. it just hangs.
  • When restoring a file from UM, it establishes two connections in parallel, one with the source and one with the destination cluster.
