  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS platform

Answer

  • If the decrease is asymptotic and does not approach zero, it's not a problem just because available reported by free command is gradually decreasing.

Example:
# free -k
total        used        free      shared  buff/cache   available
Mem:       12101520     9527188       72964       10812     2501368     2455784
Swap:       6160380       28032     6132348

  • If there is problem with memory usage, AIQUM reports Management Server Low On Memory or Management Server Almost Out Of Memory event.
