Issue

  • AD domain controllers receive excessive Kerberos TGT/TGS requests from ONTAP clusters monitored by AIQUM.
  • This can cause authentication delays and resource exhaustion on AD servers.
  • ONTAP EMS logs show repeated secd.krb.s4u2self.failure events
  • AD logs indicate a constant Kerberos request rate per cluster/node
  • AIQUM logs show bursts of thousands of API calls per polling cycle
