Can I update VM HW version on Unified Manager OVA?

Answer

  • Unified Manager OVA is only supported as is, therefore, no changed are allowed to be made on the OVA version of Unified Manager including the VM machine HW version, or VM tools.
  • Note: when deploying a new OVA the machine will get created with the latest VM HW version, then you can backup the DB from the old OVA and restore on the new OVA
