  • Automatically subscribed SVM scoped EMS not received in AIQUM for MetroCluster systems
  • AIQUM doesn’t see an event despite ONTAP Event log having entries and AIQUM server-mega.log recording the receipt of the event
  • This is same for all SVM scoped events
  • Non-SVM scoped automatically subscribed events  for eg: LUN DESTROYED” which is “LUN” scoped is visible in AIQUM
  • AIQUM shows SVM scoped automatically subscribed events (for eg:Nblade.vscanNoRegdScanner) for standalone clusters which are not part of a metrocluster setup
  • As test, generated the event Nblade.vscanNoRegdScanner on ONTAP with proper parameters as per with vserver name, scannerIP, object_type as vserver and object_uuid as vserver_uuid from ONTAP
  • Server-mega.log records the same for both MetroCluster and standalone clusters:

INFO  [default task-28261] c.n.s.s.a.EmsPostServlet (EmsPostServlet.java:111) - Received ems = Nblade.vscanNoRegdScanner to process.INFO  [default task-28261] c.n.s.s.a.EmsPostServlet (EmsPostServlet.java:128) - Sending EMS [Nblade.vscanNoRegdScanner] to listeners for processing.INFO  [pool-16-thread-20] c.n.s.s.a.EmsPostProcessor (EmsPostProcessor.java:34) - 1 EMS events have been processed by 1 listeners.

  • AIQUM only show the event No AV server registered for standalone clusters on Event Management , not for MetroCluster systems
