Applies to

  • ActiveIQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) (Installed on a Windows Server)
  • Domain of Windows Server was changed after AIQUM installation

Issue

  • The Windows server where AIQUM is installed has had its domain changed since installation.
  • The Windows server is correctly joined to the new domain, and clients can access AIQUM using the new FQDN.
  • When attempting to update the HTTPS certificate, the error "The CN of the host certificate is not valid" occurs.
  • Even after removing the old FQDN from the certificate's CN and Alternative Name fields and specifying only the new FQDN, the same error persists.
