  • Active IQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) 9.6 and above
  • OnCommand Unified Manager (OCUM) 9.5 and below

Issue

  • Unified Manager shows Storage VM CIFS Service Down alert for multiple SVMs.

  • CIFS is not enabled and used on the affected SVMs.
  • CIFS is deactivated in Ontap System Manager but shall be in use further.
