ActiveIQ Unified Manager upgrade fails for Linux versions if a MySQL password is set

Issue

The Unified Manager upgrade fails if a password has been set on the Linux platforms.

The error seen on the console during the upgrade is:

ERROR: Unable to update mysql jboss user. MySQL command failed

warning: %post(netapp-platform-base-9.6.0-2019.06.J5063.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 1
Non-fatal POSTIN scriptlet failure in rpm package netapp-platform-base-9.6.0-2019.06.J5063.x86_64

FAILURE: netapp-platform-base package is installed, but in corrupt state. Install netapp-platform-base package and try again.

error: %pre(ocie-server-0:9.6.0-2019.06.J5087.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 255
Error in PREIN scriptlet in rpm package ocie-server-9.6.0-2019.06.J5087.x86_64
error: ocie-server-0:9.6.0-2019.06.J5087.x86_64: install failed
