ActiveIQ Unified Manager fails to monitor cluster after the cluster certificate is updated

Issue

  • After updating the cluster certificate, ActiveIQ Unified Manager monitoring of the cluster fails.
    The error seen in au.log or server_acq.log is similar to the following:

2023-11-23 16:53:57,828 ERROR [common-pool-23157] c.o.s.a.f.d.BaseDataSource (DataSourceErrorException.java:244) - cluster_name [Error connecting] - Failed to connect to cluster_name ([Device name General Device]: Failed to parse server certificates) java.io.IOException: URI name must include scheme:cluster_name

  • When editing the cluster credentials after updating the certificate, the error seen is:

Failed to fetch the HTTPS certificate from <cluster_name>. Enter a valid Host name or Port.

  • The ActiveIQ Unified Manager Dashboard may display:

Cluster discovery failed. Rediscover the cluster after resolving the issue.
