Applies to

  • Active IQ Unified Manager(AIQUM)
  • Memory utilization does not show an upward trend
  • AV Scanner is not scanning the AIQUM folder
  • Threat scanner (Qualys,CrowdStrike or etc) is not scanning AIQUM

Answer

  • No, it isn't.
  • This is because AIQUM components pre-allocate memory.
  • It does not directly indicate that any action is required, as long as Requirement for dedicated use is followed.

Note: When the above requirement is not followed, ocie, ocieau, or mysql process can be killed by OOM Killer on Linux due to a memory shortage.
