Active IQ Unified Manager UI hangs when trying to use an ampersand '&' in one of the fields when regenerating the UM certificate

Issue

  • The UI hangs after regenerating Unified Manager's ssl certificate if the company or department field contain contain an ampersand(&)
  • In  9.9 the following error may be seen if the browser page is refreshed after it hanging and trying to regenerate the ssl certificate again.

Certificate could not be regenerated: /bin/sh: 1: T: not found 2021-05-12 15:16:08 INFO: Creating a certificate with custom parameters in keystore: '/opt/netapp/data/ocie/server.keystore'
