Symptom

After adding an entity (Data store, Virtual Machine) to be managed, the error
"Some entities are not SnapCenter compatible" appears in red below the in the selection dialog.
You may also find the following error in the aegis.log's (SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware main operation logs):
"Storage footprint could not be found"
