Customers may not receive support from NetApp even though they have valid Entitlements/Warranty.  Example reasons as described below and and fully explained in NetApps Support Services Terms:

  2. A SSD or Flash device has been used in excess of its rated life.
  3. Services have been performed by a person or entity other than NetApp or an authorized NetApp service representative in relation to the Hardware and Software without a prior agreement with NetApp.
  4. Power Surge or failure.
  5. Hardware subjected to fire suppression discharge.
  6. Customer having failed to provide suitable environment for the hardware as subscribed in the documentation(Hardware Universe).
  7. Issues due to cleaning or Cosmetic modification of the hardware.
  8. Hardware/Software products procured from an unauthorized NetApp Party.
