Answer

  • MANAGEMENT_LOG and PERFORMANCE AutoSupport messages and any AutoSupport message that is manually uploaded via Digital Advisor will not result in any SAP IB Record field update.
  • The following SAP IB Record fields are updated by WEEKLY_LOG, USER_TRIGGERED, AOD_TRIGGERED, and some incidental AutoSupports if they result in case automation for example HDD failure.
  1. Autosupport Section - all fields other than "Reason".  Including:
    1. Autosupport Status set to RECIEVING  (this is also set to NOT RECIEVING if there no qualifying AutoSupport message in 14 days)
    2. Host Name
  2. System Configuration - all fields.  Including:
    1. OS Version
  3. Cluster Details - all fields.  Including:
    1. Cluster Name
    2. Cluster UUID
    3. Cluster Serial No.
  4. Oracle Identification - one field.
    1. System ID
  5. Attachments
  6. Partner Serial Numbers - two fields.
    1. Serial Number
    2. Verified HA Pair
  • No other fields are updated by an AutoSupport.
  • Customers should register their systems correctly in NSS as per our published guidance to ensure information starts off correctly.  Subsequent
