The ONTAP lun resize command fails with the error that the maximum size has been reached. In ONTAP 9.5, you can grow the LUN up to 16 TB regardless of its original size. In ONTAP 9.8 and later you can grow the lun to 128 TB in ASA configurations. In ONTAP 9.12.1P2 and later, you can grow the lun to 128 TB in AFF, FAS and ASA configurations.
