A push install of SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere (SCV) from SnapCenter 3.0 RC1 fails with the following error. During the SnapCenter Plug-in install, you can see the services being created and the registry updated on the Windows host however the SnapCenter Plug-in does not appear under Programs and Features. The Hosts tab in the SnapCenter GUI shows the Plug-in status as Running.
